One workflow, from first audit to final document.
Complaudax is a Chrome extension paired with a dashboard. The extension finds issues where they live. The dashboard remembers them, per client, until they are fixed.
1. Audit in the browser, on any page
Open the extension side panel on the page you are working on: production, staging, or a page three steps into a logged-in flow. It runs automated detection against WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 Level AA and groups every finding by success criterion, with the offending element, a plain explanation, and a suggested fix.
Because the audit runs inside your own browser session, there is nothing to configure: no crawler credentials, no proxy, no script to install on the client's site. More on authenticated audits.
2. Issues persist, per client and per site
A scan you throw away is a scan you repeat. Complaudax reconciles every new audit against the existing issue list for that site. Fixed issues are marked fixed with the date. Issues that come back are flagged as regressions. Issues you marked as false positives stay silenced.
The result is a trend you can actually show a client: violations over time, per site, annotated with engine versions so the numbers stay honest.
3. Manual review, guided
Automated checks cover roughly half of WCAG. For the rest, Complaudax ships a manual checklist per site: keyboard operability, focus order, error handling, and the other criteria that need human judgment. Check items off as you review them, and the report reflects what was verified by a person versus what was verified by software.
4. Document the result
When the work is done, generate a conformance report or an accessibility statement from the actual audit history. No copy-pasting screenshots into a slide deck. See what the reports contain.
